In 2009 while writing my thesis: “Evolution of anthropometric and psychological data of women due to the increase of physical activity and a personalized follow up”. I created ACCS “Alexia Cornu Coach Sportif” and I started to work as a home sports coach.
I left Poitiers (France) in 2010 and moved to Tours (France) to accept an offer from the RSSC (Sporting Revival Saint Cyr sur Loire) athletics club for a part-time coaching position.
In 2011 I became an official trainer within the Pole Walking Branch of the FFA (French Federation Athletics) and completed my CPR degree.
In 2012 I received the “Brevet Etat Athletisme” National training Certificate in Track & field and created a “Nordic Walking Club” within the RSSC that became very successful and grew to 140 members within its first 3 years of existence! Meanwhile, I continued home coaching, managing 25 coaching lessons per week and a loyal customer base! I also received the regional prize “Best Young Sport Educator” in 2012.
The adventure continued in 2013 with the “Coach Athle Health” training, giving me new tools to further develop new activities at the RSSC. The same year I also became a Federal trainer in “Nordic Walking” and represented the FFA (French Federation Athletics) to the “EuroNordicWalk” gathering.
Since 2014, I provide coaching services to individuals, corporates, and small groups in the Bay Area (California). I give classes at their home, workplace, and outdoor. I create and innovate “Team Building”, “Sports Event” & “Sports Retreat”, bringing tourism and leisure.
